Firetower Studios
Firetower Studios is an independent venture begun by Writer Jeremy Whitley and Illustrators Jason Strutz and Charlie Harper. Firetower Studios was created on a Thursday in 2009 at the Southpoint Mall Food Court in Durham, NC. Firetower is committed to producing intelligent, thought provoking, and quality comics as well as books, art, and other fine products.
Currently Firetower is producing two ongoing series: Jeremy and Jason’s “The Order of Dagonet” and Jeremy and Franco’s “Princeless”
Writers
Jeremy Whitley (Order of Dagonet, Princeless, The Dreamers’ Daughter)
A graduate of The University of North Carolina with a BA in English and Creative Writing, Jeremy lives with his wife Alicia in Carrboro, NC. He’s a big fan of movies, video games, comics, and literature. He is currently working on two comics: ”The Order of Dagonet” with Illustrator Jason Strutz and “The Dreamers’ Daughter” with Illustrator Charlie Harper. He has a number of other projects in development, but don’t get your hopes up because “The Dreamers’ Daughter” was in development for three years before anything came out of that.

Jason Strutz (Order of Dagonet)
Jason is a North Carolina illustrator, originally from Buffalo, NY. He studied illustration at Rochester Institute of Technology and therefore must know what he is doing. He has a variety of items for sale in the Firetower Store including comics, shirts, and gift books.

Charlie Harper
Charlie is a self taught artist with a passion for constant learning, exploration, and improving. He grew up in rural North Carolina as an only child surrounded by fields. This environment along with comics and cartoons helped him develop a great imagination to fill sketchbooks. The Internet brought him together with Jason and Jeremy who were armed with common interests and goals to help form Firetower Studios.

Luis Franco (Princeless)
Franco received his BA in Art at North Carolina Central University.
He enjoys painting, drawing, design, photography and creating digital art.
His artwork tends to focus on social, political and cultural issues in the world.
Franco wishes to take audience on a creative journey that will relax their minds and allow their conscious to be free.

Alicia Whitley (The Dreamers’ Daughter, Order of Dagonet)
Alicia is the only member of the Firetower team who actually possesses super powers, which she needs for her job as a high school teacher. When she isn’t teaching the masses, she lends us her expertise in editing which she learned both from teaching and from being a graduate of the University of North Carolina majoring in English and Education.
