Well I have to first start out with an apology about the swap of comics on the site off of the regular schedule. Usually Ennui of the Dead is on Thursdays and The Order of Dagonet is posted on Fridays.

Compared to a regular full size comic page, a web strip four panel comic is not as demanding on my time. They take me anywhere from an hour to two to finish. This time of course is spread out in little chunks throughout the week. I have to choose my comic battles wisely throughout the week to share time with other responsibilities, wants, needs…..life, etc.

This week was no different than any previous one. However, it did teach me a lesson when it comes to having my strip ready. Expect the unexpected. I get up at 6am every morning and after being convinced by my lovely wife to get some much needed rest and that I could finish the lettering this morning, Thursday, I agreed. Now for the kink in this plan. We awoke to our son Brody being fussy and having a rash all over him. My wife was having an audit so I needed to take Brody to the doctor first thing. Guess where the comic went on the priority list? Yep, to the bottom. To boot I later had to bring him home for the day. And as anyone whom has taken care of a 16 month old and thought they would get anything accomplished that day can tell you….forgetaboutit.

Thankfully my partners in crime at Firetower Studios jumped in to do a swapperoo on the comics. So…now that this long winded explanation is over. Hopefully you enjoy the comics here at Firetower Studios and your upcoming weekend.
